ABOUT TIM

Timothy Walker is an aspiring Music Artist who began their exciting musical voyage of artistic discovery in 2010. He is a native of Memphis, TN where he attended Memphis Central High School and has performed in an array of venues with ensembles like the All-West TN Band ensembles, All West Choir, All-State Band, and Choir ensembles, and many more.

While in college, Tim participated in the Jackson State Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Marching Band. Walker made connections with different music entities such as Sony Music Entertainment, Memphis Music Initiative, and Memphis Slim Collaboratory during his college career. He was able to broaden his talents and explore many career options with these organizations. 

Tim is now a graduate of Jackson State University with a Bachelor's in Music Technology. Currently, he is the ORFF Music instructor at John P. Freeman Optional School in Memphis, TN. Other roles include co-band director, drum instructor, and jazz band director for JPF as well.  He understands the importance of music education and how valuable it is to musicians. Tim believes that any musician who wants to enhance their craft deserves the proper leadership.
